Dr Jonathan Kentley,

Dr Kentley is a highly respected consultant dermatologist in London with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of all skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and skin cancer. With a strong commitment to healthy skin, he provides personalised, compassionate dermatology care tailored to the unique needs of every patient.

He has specialist expertise in the early and accurate diagnosis of skin cancer, using advanced dermatology technology and dermoscopy. Dr Kentley completed a prestigious fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York before becoming an NHS Consultant Dermatologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

Alongside his medical dermatology practice, Dr Kentley has extensive international training in cosmetic dermatology and laser skin treatments. He serves on the Executive Committee of the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group (BCDG), reflecting his leadership in the field.

Regularly quoted in the UK media, Dr Kentley also acts as a spokesperson for leading dermatology charities, including the British Skin Foundation and the Melanoma Research Alliance, helping to raise awareness of skin health, skin cancer prevention, and safe cosmetic treatments.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Dr Kentley obtained his medical degree from Barts and The London School of Medicine, graduating with distinction, and also holds a BSc in Pharmacology from King’s College London. He trained at several of London’s leading teaching hospitals before securing a highly competitive dermatology training number in London and later became a Consultant Dermatologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

As part of his academic development, Dr Kentley completed an MSc in Clinical Drug Development at University College London, graduating on the Dean’s List, and went on to complete a Research Doctorate at Imperial College London. His research has been widely published in peer-reviewed dermatology journals, and he has contributed multiple book chapters and presented his work at international conferences.

Dr Kentley also undertook an international dermatology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, focusing on advanced imaging techniques and artificial intelligence in the diagnosis of skin cancer, as well as developing expertise in cutting-edge dermatology treatments.
